Job Description

Plant Controller Location:
Utica, NY (On-site)
Salary:
$115,000 $140,000 + Bonus Opportunity Join a growing manufacturer of advanced liquid cooling components as our Plant Controller. This hands-on leadership role partners directly with the Plant Director to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the facility. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence key business decisions, support operational growth, and help shape the financial strategy of the facility. Key Responsibilities Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting. Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, inventory, scrap, and productivity. Prepare financial forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports. Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve profitability and support capital investments. Provide financial insight to support business growth and operational performance. Qualifications Required Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Manufacturing finance experience in cost accounting, plant controlling, or FP&A. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting. Hands-on, operational approach with the ability to partner effectively with plant leadership. Preferred CPA, CMA, or MBA. Experience with ERP systems and standard costing. Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing exposure. Why Join Us?
