3008184759-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products seeks an Assistant Controller to support plant and corporate finance in a complex aerospace manufacturing environment. This role owns month-end close, cost accounting, inventory and variance analysis, and financial reporting to corporate. The Assistant Controller partners with operations to track KPIs, ensure accurate standard costing, and support pricing decisions. Responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, supporting audits, budgeting and forecasting, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes while upholding CPP's safety, quality, and compliance standards. Responsibilities Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements for plant operations Perform cost accounting, standard cost updates, and inventory valuation Analyze manufacturing variances and KPIs, partnering with operations on cost drivers Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making Maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring GAAP compliance Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation Optimize ERP and reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-plant financial projects Required Skills Financial reporting Cost accounting Manufacturing accounting Standard costing Inventory accounting Variance analysis Budgeting and forecasting Internal controls ERP systems Excel/financial modeling
