Oversee and review general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and industry standards. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support external audits, tax filings, and lender reporting requirements. Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting best practices. Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing and new property accounting transitions

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Manage year-end CAM reconciliations for commercial properties. Assist in monitoring and processing rents receivable, collaborating with accounts receivable and the management team. Assist monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. • Assist in overseeing all property-level and corporate accounting functions • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and industry standards. Experience with commercial leases, CAM reconciliations and property-level reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems, Yardi is a plus. Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills with attention to detail and formula use. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong leadership, organizational and problem solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
