Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Project Planning and Execution to lead our construction project management initiatives. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple large-scale infrastructure and commercial construction projects. Oversee project scheduling using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Prolog, and Construction Management tools to ensure timely delivery. Manage cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, estimators, and field personnel to coordinate construction schedules and optimize workflow. Ensure strict adherence to construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across all projects. Develop and maintain detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical documentation utilizing Civil 3D and other design software. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and performance metrics; proactively address delays or issues to keep projects on track. Oversee cost management activities including estimating, budgeting, change order processing, and financial reporting to ensure profitability. Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders by managing contracts, scope changes, and project documentation with clarity and transparency. Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines or budgets. Promote a culture of safety on construction sites through rigorous compliance checks and safety training initiatives. Experience Extensive experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from inception through completion. Proven track record in construction scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams within a construction management role; ability to motivate diverse groups toward common goals. Deep understanding of construction plans, blueprints reading (including Civil 3D), technical specifications, and blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety protocols, quality assurance processes, and regulatory standards. Knowledge of heavy civil projects such as roads, bridges or utilities is highly desirable; familiarity with managing large-scale infrastructure is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects simultaneously. $180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
