This role ensures financial accuracy, supports executive decision-making, and driver operational efficiency through strong financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) Oversee general ledger and close process Manage AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow Develop budgets and forecasts Maintain strong internal controls Coordinate audits and tax filings Partner with leadership on financial strategy Leadership Expectations Provide financial insights that guide business decisions and long-term strategy Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a high-performing team Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and ensure high standards Partner with other departments to align financial goals Lead system upgrades, process improvements, and organizational change Maintain integrity, transparency, and compliance in all financial activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to administer private, nonprofit service organizations, including an understanding of the legal responsibilities and constraints of such organizations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with federal, state, regional, and local agencies, community leaders, and the general public. Knowledge of the philosophy of IDD and current concepts on IDD. Knowledge of available public and private resources and services for the IDD. Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to aging and related services. Knowledge of modern principles, methods, and techniques of administration and program planning. Ability to obtain and manage external grants and contracts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
