Job duties include:
Responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems Will have oversight of all aspects of the accounting and finance functions and will be responsible for driving financial strategy and planning for assigned properties Will monitor and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses
Requirements:
BA/BS in accounting, finance or related field Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality finance industry Extensive knowledge of accounting software, implementing procedures/financial systems and controls, as well as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential Must by highly analytical, can think creatively, and understand complex business dynamics Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment Ability to work under pressure, irregular hours, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a plus Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements and events including nights, weekends, and holidays Accrual and cost accounting experience is preferred This company offers competitive salary, end of year bonus, and full benefits package!
