The Controller leads all accounting and financial operations for Amara NZero's U.S. entities

Amara NZero USA, Inc.

and

SUNRGY, LLC

and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

This role owns the preparation of financial statements for both entities and is accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of U.S. financial reporting. The Controller keeps U.S. operations aligned with the parent company's financial policies, systems, and internal controls while building local accounting capability. The Controller also serves as the link between the U.S. and global finance teams, carrying company-specific financial processes, ERP systems, and reporting practices into the U.S. business so that operations and standards integrate cleanly.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct all accounting functions for both U.

entities:

general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Prepare and own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Amara NZero USA, Inc.

in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal corporate standards.

Implement Amara NZero's global accounting policies, internal controls, and financial systems across the U.S. entities.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or Master's degree preferred.
7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years as a Controller or accounting manager.
Strong command of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
Proven leadership ability, including managing accounting across multiple legal entities.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with ERP accounting systems (SAP and Zoho preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong time management skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
