Type:
full-time FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Controller for a great client. This rapidly growing company is well-known for the design and fabrication of high-quality products. So, what will you be doing as Controller?
- Develop, test, and refine cost accounting processes for materials, labor, and overhead
- Perform analysis of WIP and production activity to identify discrepancies and variances
- Investigate cost drivers and support improved visibility to cost drivers and profitability
- Partner with Operations to understand real-world processes and align appropriate costing approaches
- Perform monthly close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals) What you will need to be successful:
- BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Hands-on experience with ERP and Accounting software packages
- Advanced database skills (Excel)
- Proven ability to create and implement process Things considered a plus:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication)
