Clinical Therapist (MA/MSW) - Licensed Oak Plains Academy is a comprehensive and highly structured 98-bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents, struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. Residents receive an individualized treatment plan, geared to meet their personal needs. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in the residents we serve. Located on 20 acres of rolling hills in a rural setting, about 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, Oak Plains Academy campus features a full-size gymnasium, dining hall, separate academic building, and four dormitories.

Job Requirements:
Master's degree in social work/clinical services field required Licensed by the State of Tennessee in social work or related field, as a LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT required Eligibility for licensure track in social work or related field acceptable. One to two years' experience working with youth with emotional and/or behavioral diagnosis, required. This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification Valid Driver's License The Clinical Therapist will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of residents. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each resident. The individual is required to work with the Department of Child Services with regards to child family team meetings and court hearings. Along with completing appropriate documentations. Clinical Therapist will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned residents at Oak Plains Academy as required by contractual and licensure obligations. Clinical Therapist will also participate in subsequent treatment planning, risk management assessment and aftercare / discharge planning. Clinical Therapist will actively communicate with staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to residents and their family members / caregivers / placement options.
