  • Injury PreventionRhino Medical is leading the charge seeking BOC-Certified Athletic Trainers for two occupational health assignments in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Bring your athletic training expertise into the workplace, w your focus shifts from treating injuries after they happen to preventing them in the first place. These onsite roles combine ergonomics, early intervention, first aid, employee education, and return-to-work support in an established industrial environment.

Two schedule options are available, including a 40-hour Monday-Thursday assignment and a Friday-only opportunity.

Available SchedulesOpening 1 - Monday through Thursday
  • 11:00 AM-9:00 PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • 40 hours/week
  • ASAP through October 29
  • One training day requiredOpening 2 - Fridays
  • 5:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • One 10-hour shift per week
  • ASAP through October 30
  • One training day requiredCandidates may be considered for the schedule that best aligns with their availability.
What You'll DoYou'll serve as a key member of an onsite health and safety team, working directly with employees to reduce injury risk and address concerns early.
  • Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend corrective strategies
  • Provide first aid and triage for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints
  • Identify potential injury risks and support early intervention
  • Educate employees on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy work practices
  • Support return-to-work plans for injured employees
  • Collaborate with onsite safety and HR teams
  • Document assessments and interventions
  • Provide actionable insights through workplace health and safety reportingRequired Qualifications
  • BOC-Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Active Maryland state license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work the complete schedule associated with the selected openingPreferred Experience
  • 1+ year of industrial, occupational health, or sports medicine experience
  • Industrial or occupational medicine experience
  • Ergonomics and injury-prevention experience
  • Familiarity with OSHA recordability and workers' compensation procedures
  • CEAS and/or OSHA 10 certificationExpand W Athletic Training Can Take YouThis is an opportunity to apply your clinical training beyond a traditional sports environment.
