Key Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology required Active Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience delivering direct, individualized pediatric audiology care Familiarity with school-based settings and related documentation Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for students Provide tailored 1:1 intervention and support to meet individual needs Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents to maximize student inclusion and participation Document assessments, therapies, and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines Recommend and coordinate the use of assistive listening devices and classroom accommodations Offer ongoing support and resources to school personnel on hearing health and related issues
