Key Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a current California Audiology license. Experience conducting assessments for hearing loss and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD). Familiarity with managing and troubleshooting HAT/FM systems and hearing amplification technology. Proficiency in supporting development of IEPs, IFSPs, and 504 accommodation plans. Strong communication skills for collaboration with educational teams, families, and district personnel. Ability to navigate multiple campuses as an itinerant provider.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and generate detailed reports. Participate in student staffing, IEP, IFSP, and 504 meetings to recommend appropriate accommodations and interventions. Ensure proper function and maintenance of assistive technology and hearing equipment, including ordering, setup, and troubleshooting. Provide expertise during consultations with families, the DHH team, and school staff. Work closely with educational teams to help create effective solutions for students with hearing challenges, ensuring access to quality instruction. This position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning mid-December and running through early June, with 37.5 hours per week.
