Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Masters degree or doctoral degree (Au.

D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology required Active Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Demonstrated experience providing pediatric audiology services, especially within school settings Knowledge of best practices in audiological assessments, amplification devices, and intervention planning for children Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical and culturally responsive care

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive audiological evaluations and implement individualized hearing interventions for students Monitor auditory devices, such as hearing aids and FM systems, ensuring proper functioning and fit Work directly with students in 1:1 settings to promote academic success and participation Provide in-service training to school personnel on hearing loss and support strategies Maintain thorough documentation and records in alignment with district protocols and legal requirements Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
