Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in a school setting Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational and communication abilities Flexibility and enthusiasm for adapting to a dynamic educational environment
Primary Duties:
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for students, with a focus on individualized, 1:1 needs Interpret test results and develop tailored intervention plans Fit, monitor, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive listening devices Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other school professionals to support student learning Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and auditory support Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and staff
