Key Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology required Active Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience delivering pediatric audiology services, particularly in educational or school-based settings Strong interpersonal communication and an empathetic, student-first approach Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and family members
Core Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and ongoing hearing evaluations for students Implement and manage individualized audiology plans, including fitting, programming, and maintenance of assistive hearing devices Deliver direct 1:1 services to pediatric students, supporting their communication needs and fostering academic success Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure optimal support and accommodations Maintain thorough and compliant documentation according to state and school district requirements Educate students, families, and staff on hearing health, prevention strategies, and device care
