Lexington, NC Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Audiologist (Part-Time) to join our mobile care team in Lexington, NC. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities. All administrative and logistical responsibilities-including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing-are fully managed by CMC. This independent contractor position allows you to focus entirely on patient care without the burdens of managing a private practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing
Provide hearing aid assessments, fittings, and follow-up care
Develop treatment plans tailored to geriatric and long-term care populations
Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on hearing health and device use
Ensure a respectful, safe, and patient-centered environment during all visits
Collaborate with facility staff to ensure coordinated care and smooth visit flow
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology (MA, MS, AuD)
Active North Carolina Audiology License
Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to mobile and facility-based care settings
Schedule:
Part-Time Flexible scheduling based on provider availability (Details discussed during screening)
