Qualifications:
Masters degree or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology from an accredited program Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in an educational or school-based setting Strong diagnostic, evaluation, and communication skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development Your responsibilities will encompass conducting hearing assessments, developing and implementing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating closely with educators, families, and other specialists. Youll advocate for students auditory needs and support their access to learning through ongoing evaluation and tailored accommodations. Active participation in IEP meetings, thorough documentation, and providing in-services or educational sessions for staff are also central to this role.
