Key Qualifications:
Masters degree or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology required Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience providing school-based audiology services, preferably in pediatric settings Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students, interpreting results to develop effective treatment plans Collaborate with educational staff and families to implement individualized hearing intervention and auditory management strategies Provide direct 1:1 pediatric audiology services on-site, ensuring optimum student access and participation Maintain and troubleshoot hearing aid equipment and FM systems Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation Stay updated on best practices in school-based audiology and participate in ongoing professional development Experience rewarding perks including comprehensive health and dental insurance, a company-matched 401(k), and competitive weekly pay.
