Key Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology from an accredited program Current licensure as an Audiologist in Texas Experience working 1:1 with pediatric clients, preferably in an educational setting Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and educational teams Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students, including diagnostic evaluations and screenings Develop individualized treatment plans to address each child's unique auditory needs, supporting their educational goals Provide direct, 1:1 audiological services and counseling to students across a range of ages and needs Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to facilitate a supportive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for students auditory and communication health
