Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting clients in achieving their goals. This role is crucial in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Collect data on client behavior and progress to inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients in developing essential life skills through structured activities and interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including supervisors and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide support in behavioral management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Engage with clients in a way that fosters trust, respect, and rapport. Skills Knowledge of special education principles and practices. Proficiency in behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy methodologies. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Ability to assist clients effectively while demonstrating empathy and patience. Experience working with children is highly desirable, as well as a passion for making a difference in their lives. $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
