Overview Clearwater is seeking RBTs with flexibility and desire to supplement their current income with either or both of these shifts below:

Fallbrook:

Four hours per week (Two, two hour shifts) Tuesdays and Thursdays anytime between 4-730pm with an 8 year old girl with Level 1 - Autism. If this matches your situation, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work closely with this joyful little girl by implementing individualized behavior and natural based lesson plans using natural teaching strategies to help her achieve her goals in socialization, conversations, executive functioning and emotional regulation. Candidates should have a strong foundation in behavioral therapy, experience working with children, and knowledge of medical documentation and HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Provide direct teaching and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized care plans using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Assist with teaching social skills, communication, and behavioral management strategies through positive reinforcement and play based strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and functional skills Collect, record, and summarize data accurately to help monitor progress and inform BCBA supervisor Work alongside parents and caregivers to help them understand how to also assist in the development of new skills for their child Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Bachelor level preferred but not required. At least 1-3 years of experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder preferred Strong understanding of behavior management strategies, lesson plan implementation, and data collection. Comfort and confidence to work effectively with children and their families requiring behavioral support in the home or community setting Experience with natural and play based teaching while using direct, ABA related teaching techniques (e.g., shaping, differential reinforcement, task analysis, etc.) Experience assisting with daily living skills (e.g., dressing, chores, etc.) Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Compassionate and serving attitude that's able to provide energetic and passionate support with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse population This role is ideal for those passionate about behavioral health, autism, education, and ABA who want to contribute positively to the lives of individuals requiring support for developmental challenges.
