DSP/ RBT
Job Description Assist youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities with acquiring, retaining, improving, and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community. Behavior Technicians will provide services directly to the youth in their homes using Positive Behavior Supports, and instruction in Daily and Independent Living Skills.
Pay rate:
$28.00 / hour
Responsibilities:
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis skills to youth and/or adults Train/coach individuals and their families in daily living skills, behavior management, parenting, socialization, and other identified needs Advocate for the individuals and their families Provide input into assessments, case conferences, and treatment plans Crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention Staff meeting attendance Ensure all agency policies are implemented and followed Complete progress notes within 24 hours of service provision Communicate and confirm the schedule Complete required pieces of training

Qualifications:
Preferred 1-year experience working with DD/ID population Must pass physical and complete TB testing. RBT certified or able to become certified within first year of employment per regulation.
