Desired Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Previous experience as a BCBA, ideally within school or pediatric populations Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to conduct assessments, interpret data, and make sound recommendations Comfortable consulting with staff, teachers, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and ongoing evaluations Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans Train, mentor, and support school staff and aides in best practices for implementing ABA strategies Provide direct and consultative services, offering recommendations based on data-driven analyses Foster collaborative relationships with families, multidisciplinary teams, and school administrators Monitor student progress, update plans as needed, and document findings comprehensively Participate in IEP meetings as the behavioral specialist If you have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential and enjoy partnering with diverse teams, this role offers a fulfilling professional experience.
