9684195-95366 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting students in grades 7-12 across two dynamic school sites. This full-time assignment covers a maternity leave and will extend through the end of the calendar year, providing a rewarding way to impact student outcomes while gaining valuable school-based experience. As a BCBA in this setting, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their goals, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff in a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working with school-aged children or adolescents, preferably in secondary (grades 7-12) settings Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans Ability to train and support teachers, staff, and families in implementing strategies Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Able to travel between two school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students requiring support Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans based on individual needs Provide direct and consultative services to students, school personnel, and families Train and coach staff on data collection, positive behavior support, and intervention fidelity Monitor student progress to assess effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements Foster collaboration with IEP teams and participate in meetings as a behavioral specialist This role offers an exciting chance to expand your professional experience within an educational environment, working with diverse learners and dedicated school teams.
