Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Behavior Technician, you will: Provide 1:1 in-home support to children with Autism, using fun and engaging play-based teaching strategies. Work under the guidance and supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized treatment plans. Help children achieve critical developmental milestones in communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Adapt to a variety of client needs—some children may have limited verbal skills and require support in learning basic communication, while others may need guidance with social interactions, independence, and self-help skills. Paid RBT Certification Process:
We provide a structured, step-by-step training program to ensure you feel confident in your role: 40-hour online course to build foundational ABA knowledge. 3 days of hands-on, in-person training to practice techniques with expert guidance. Direct observation and feedback from experienced BCBAs to refine your skills. Final RBT exam preparation and support to ensure your success. Upon achieving your RBT Certification, you will receive a pay increase of $26 per hour!
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old with High School Diploma or GED. Driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance. Full availability from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Plus
Either experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, elderly, or any other vulnerable population OR currently enrolled in college pursuing a related major (Education, child development, psychology, nursing, etc.
).
