This role involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols and assisting children with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children succeed, strong communication skills, and experience working in educational or behavioral settings. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in behavioral therapy and make a positive impact on children's lives. Responsibilities I mplementing ABA therapy protocols tailored to each child's individual needs Support children during behavioral therapy sessions, providing direct behavioral support and guidance Collect and record behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Communicate with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and understanding of therapy goals Work closely with children in various settings, including school environments, to promote skill development and socialization Support the planning and execution of activities designed to enhance developmental progress Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children at all times Experience Prior experience working with children is preferred, especially in educational or therapeutic settings Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is beneficial Familiarity with direct behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies is advantageous Experience with behavioral data collection to track progress effectively School experience related to working with children is considered a plus Qualifications (What Makes You a Good Fit): Be loving and caring for all our patients and their families, willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients receive quality medically necessary ABA Services and Parent Education as well as awareness.
