Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, support clients in developing essential skills, and promote positive behavior change. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, fostering independence and confidence. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices. Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and updates to care plans, following HIPAA regulations for confidentiality. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to ensure ethical compliance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to promote understanding of therapy goals and reinforce strategies at home or in community settings. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within special education or behavioral health settings. Hands-on experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques for children on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards related to behavioral health. Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data systematically and accurately during direct therapy sessions. Knowledge of behavior management strategies and client communication techniques tailored to diverse needs. Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality as outlined by HIPAA regulations. Pay:
$28.76 - $32.00 per hour
