Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Summary:

The position is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, analyzing client progress, and providing clinical supervision and training to RBTs/Behavior Technicians and caregivers in accordance with clinical, ethical, and organizational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and reassessments. Develop and update individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, goals, and clinical protocols. Provide direct BCBA supervision and protocol modification. Review client data and modify treatment based on progress and clinical need. Train, supervise, coach, and provide feedback to RBTs/Behavior Technicians implementing treatment plans. Provide direct client support. Provide parent/caregiver training and consultation related to treatment goals, behavior strategies, communication, and generalization. Complete treatment-plan updates, progress reports, authorization documentation, and other required clinical documentation. Participate in case consultation and collaborate with other members of the client's care team. Maintain timely, accurate documentation consistent with BACB standards, Illinois requirements, payer requirements, and company policies. Communicate significant clinical concerns, barriers to progress, safety concerns, or recommendations to the supervising clinical leader.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze clinical data and make data-informed treatment decisions. Competence in using clinical software and technology. Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and practices. Effective supervision, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with families and members of the clinical team.

Education and Training Required:

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field. Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Active Illinois Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Completed 8-hour supervision training.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Experience working with children with autism or related developmental needs.

Physical Demands:

Move quickly, including running and participating in floor-based activities. Frequently transition between sitting, standing, and walking. Lift and maneuver objects weighing 25 pounds. Assist with children's hygiene, first aid, and safety needs.

Work Environment:

Work location is in person. 25 hours per week part-time schedule. Workdays are Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
