Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your enthusiasm and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. As an RBT, you will play a key role in supporting clients' growth within home-based and clinical settings, ensuring they receive personalized care aligned with their unique needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on approved treatment protocols and client care plans Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Communicate regularly with supervisors, families, and caregivers to update on client progress and address any concerns Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Support the development of social skills, communication abilities, and adaptive behaviors through structured teaching methods Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Experience implementing ABA therapy protocols or working within a behavioral health setting is highly desirable Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices is beneficial Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Familiarity with special education environments or supporting individuals on the autism spectrum enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement are essential Join us as a Registered Behavior Technician to empower individuals on their journey toward greater independence!
