Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify behavior needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation
  • Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and therapists, to ensure coordinated care for clients
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and other team members on behavior management strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, caregivers, and other professionals
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices for maintaining accurate records Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
