G. Mallett & Cascade Brook Schools Job Goal(s): RSU #9 is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Math Interventionist Paraprofessional to contribute to our Title I program, serving students in grades K-5. This hourly position involves providing essential Tier 1, 2, and 3 math support under the direction of certified teachers. Key responsibilities include assisting with math assessments, implementing intervention plans in small group or one-on-one settings, monitoring student progress, and collaborating effectively with classroom teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum goals. Candidates should possess experience working with elementary-aged students and demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental math concepts. We invite qualified individuals to join our team and play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Qualifications Ed Tech III Certification required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Certifications Maine DOE Certification
  • Ed Tech III Working Schedule School Year Only 179 days Elementary hours Travel Requirements Travel between schools or district buildings may be required.
Reports To:
Building Principal & works closely with the District Math Coordinator
Salary Range:
Track 9: $23.81
  • $28.
11 per hour Final rate is determined by candidate qualifications, relevant experience, and skills. Support Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement
Terms of Employment:
As determined annually by the District. This is a one year position.
Evaluation:
Completed annually by Principal or their designee.
FLSA Status:
Non-exempt
