Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Duties Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' developmental goals. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Deliver direct behavioral therapy tailored to each client's needs, ensuring engagement and motivation throughout sessions. Support clients in developing communication skills using evidence-based techniques such as picture exchange communication systems (PECS) or augmentative communication devices. Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and transparency in care plans. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management strategies, and data collection methods. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Prior experience in home-based or school-based behavioral therapy settings is highly preferred. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
