Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your energy and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management within a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on approved ABA therapy protocols under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to their needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, providing positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to encourage desired behaviors. Communicate regularly with clients' families and care teams to update progress, discuss care plans, and ensure consistency across settings. Qualifications Prior experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavior data collection methods. Familiarity with special education environments, school-based programs, or home-based behavioral services is preferred. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement care plans effectively while maintaining patient care standards. Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality requirements such as HIPAA compliance. Strong communication skills for client interaction, family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within required timeframes is highly desirable. Join us if you're eager to support individuals on their journey toward greater independence through compassionate care and evidence-based practices! This role provides an enriching opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health while making a tangible difference in clients' lives.
