We have an opening for an organized person who wants to support our clients in learning daily living skills. We operate a day program for individuals with special needs. This is a full-time position 7:30 am - 3:30 pm M & F and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

at our day program location in Bridgeton, MO. We have a dedicated DLS kitchen with a wide variety of supplies, and we are looking for an individual who can teach our clients DLS skills and support their goals. Lead a DLS class for each group every day 4 days a week One day a week coordinate with the teacher and plan and prep for all upcoming classes for the next week Complete pre-assessments and assessments as needed Create, maintain and regularly inventory DLS materials, requesting additional materials from the teacher as needed Maintain AU Cafe program, including keeping an inventory of supplies, requesting more supplies when they run low, and assisting clients in running the cafe according to the schedule and cafe guidelines. Train behavior technicians on supporting clients' DLS activities based on clients' assessments and/or current best practices Train substitute personnel to substitute for upcoming planned absences Maintain RBT certification requirements Conduct RBT sessions with clients during DLS classes, as assigned Maintain training on DLS practices and learning to stay current in best practices
