Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in Lebanon , NJ! This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities by implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions. As a vital part of our clinical team, you will work closely with children and their families to promote skill development, independence, and positive behavior change. This paid position is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about behavioral health, special education, and client-centered care.

  • Duties Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, fostering independence and self-care skills Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed for children with autism spectrum disorders, ensuring consistency and fidelity to treatment plans Support teaching and behavior management strategies aligned with the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates on progress, reinforce strategies at home, and address questions or concerns Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance Participate in training sessions on medical terminology, medical records management, and behavioral health best practices to enhance your skills in direct behavioral therapy Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is a strong plus Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting children with special needs is desirable Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance is beneficial Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols accurately and ethically in diverse settings Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams Passion for helping children achieve their full potential through patient care, behavior management, and tailored interventions Embark on a fulfilling career path where your dedication directly impacts children's growth and well-being.
