In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). All roles are paid, including internships, ensuring you are recognized for your valuable contributions from day one. Responsibilities Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions based on individualized care plans aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and feeding, promoting independence and skill development. Collect and analyze behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols designed for children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including detailed notes on client responses, behavior management strategies, and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate regularly with clients' families and care teams to update on progress, address concerns, and reinforce consistency across settings. Support clients in various environments, including home-based settings and school-related activities, to promote generalization of skills. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols effectively. Experience assisting with ADLs and providing patient care in clinical or home settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance. Previous home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting children with disabilities is highly valued. Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining professional and ethical standards. Join us in making a difference!
