Overview Join our dedicated team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support clients through personalized care plans, and foster positive behavioral growth. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Support clients during therapy sessions, providing direct behavioral therapy in home-based or clinical settings. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including behavior management plans, care plans, and medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies. Support clients' social, communication, and behavioral goals through engaging teaching techniques aligned with special education principles. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management. Experience working in home-based behavioral settings or school environments is highly desirable. Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives effectively. Excellent client communication skills coupled with a professional and ethical approach aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately, maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines, and adhere to all safety protocols.
