Job Description

Overview We are a family who have adopted multiple children from around the world. We currently are hiring for direct support professionals of two of our daughters, ages 15 (autism) and 13 (Down syndrome). Join our dedicated team in a hybrid role as an In-Home Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities within their home environment. This rewarding position allows you to implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols, assist with daily living activities, and foster meaningful progress for your clients. As an integral part of our team, you'll help create a positive, structured, and nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth, independence, and confidence. We also have an opening for a live-in option where we provide a separate guest home on our ranch for the right candidate to live on site, rent-free. Responsibilities This is a hybrid position where the candidate would be employed as an in-home attendant/caregiver to two children who have special needs in the family's home. Apply your ABA knowledge while Implementing ABA strategies in a naturalistic home environment as behaviors occur. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines to promote independence. Support clients in various settings by applying behavioral health principles, managing challenging behaviors, and promoting positive social interactions. Follow the daily schedule and instructions provided by the mother of the children you are supporting. Communicate clearly and effectively with the family, clients, and team of caregivers. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially in home-based settings or school environments. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred. Strong communication skills for client interaction, family collaboration, and professional teamwork. Embark on a meaningful career that makes a real difference in children's lives! Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 40.0 per week
