Job Description

Job Summary:
We are
URGENTLY
looking for a compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior management strategies and assisting with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as required
  • Maintain precise and detailed medical records and documentation
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication
  • Apply behavior analysis techniques to facilitate clients' progress
  • Collaborate with professionals in special education to optimize client outcomes
  • Develop and execute individualized care plans based on specific needs
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations for maintaining client confidentiality
Skills:
  • Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to behavior management
  • Familiarity with children's needs and behaviors
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management
  • Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) support
  • Background in behavioral health or special education is advantageous
