Job Description
Job Summary:
We areURGENTLY
looking for a compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior management strategies and assisting with daily activities.Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as required
- Maintain precise and detailed medical records and documentation
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication
- Apply behavior analysis techniques to facilitate clients' progress
- Collaborate with professionals in special education to optimize client outcomes
- Develop and execute individualized care plans based on specific needs
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations for maintaining client confidentiality
Skills:
- Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to behavior management
- Familiarity with children's needs and behaviors
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management
- Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) support
- Background in behavioral health or special education is advantageous
