Job Description
Job Summary Focused Behavior Solutions, LLC provides behavior analytic services to clients in and around Walla Walla, WA. We are currently in search of a Behavior Technician to join our team of enthusiastic, collaborative professionals. In this role, you will apply the principles of behavior analysis to help clients develop skills and reduce challenging behavior by working one-on-one with clients in a home, clinic, school, or community setting. You will practice under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Training is provided! Hours can vary with the family, but once a schedule is set, can be very consistent. Hours typically start full-time, and lead to full-time as clients enroll. Responsibilities and Duties Implement skill acquisition plans developed by the supervisor using strategies including but not limited to: behavioral skills training (BST), contingencies of reinforcement, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), naturalistic teaching (NET), task analysis/chaining, discrimination training, stimulus control transfer, stimulus fading, prompting and prompt fading, generalization and maintenance procedures Implement behavior modification plans developed by the supervisor using strategies such as: antecedent intervention, contingency management, differential reinforcement, and functional communication training Collect data using continuous measurement, discontinuous measurement, and permanent product recording Complete objective program documentation after each session with the client and adhere to requirements for data collection, storage, and transportation Actively participate in regularly scheduled supervision meetings (including observation and consultation), client team meetings, and staff training Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards of conduct and confidentiality Perform other duties as assigned by BCBA supervisor Commuting to surrounding communities to conduct sessions will be required Qualifications and Skills Washington State required a license which involves an online 40-hour course, but we will provide this to the right person. Experience working with children and/or youth required.
