Job Description

Behavior Treatment Technician Learning Grove ABA is a play-base, child-led ABA therapy center in the Wausau area. We are currently looking for people that want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. The Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Behavior Treatment Supervisor and BCBA. This role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans and collecting data on client progress.
Position Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with children through play and daily routines. Support communication, social, and independent living skills. Lead play-based activities, crafts, sensory play, and outdoor learning. Encourage positive behaviors using individualized teaching strategies. Track each child's progress and communicate with your team. Collaborate with BCBAs to help children reach their goals. Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification. Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities, is preferred. Strong observational and data collection skills.
Wages:
The Behavior Technician starting wage is $20-24/hour for a 35-hour work week, 8am - 3pm daily.
