We are looking for a field technician to handle inspections and repairs across our customer base — primarily nursing homes, plus clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. What You'll Do Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on medical equipment, primarily at nursing homes and long-term care facilities Work at clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities as the schedule calls for it Electrical safety, safety, and performance testing Diagnose and repair equipment in the field Complete accurate documentation for each unit inspected or repaired Tag, track, and maintain accurate equipment inventory records for customer asset management Drive to customer sites throughout our service area What We're Looking For Experience servicing medical equipment, or a strong mechanical/electronics background with a willingness to learn Biomedical equipment technology degree or certification is a plus, but not required Must be able to occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable with computers and mobile devices for documentation and inventory tracking Comfortable working independently at customer sites Professional with facility staff — you are the face of CalMed on site Room to Grow CalMed is a good place to build a career.
