Job Description

Duties:

Perform echocardiogram procedures using sonography equipment
Prepare patients for procedures by obtaining vital signs and explaining the process
Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to accurately interpret and evaluate diagnostic images
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information

Qualifications:

Certification as an Echocardiogram Technician or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the cardiovascular system
Proficiency in performing echocardiogram procedures and interpreting results
Excellent understanding of medical terminology used in cardiology
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members

Note:

Prior experience working as an Echocardiogram Technician or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Pay:

From $38.00 per hour
