Job Description
Duties:
- Perform echocardiogram procedures using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by obtaining vital signs and explaining the process
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to accurately interpret and evaluate diagnostic images
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Echocardiogram Technician or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the cardiovascular system
- Proficiency in performing echocardiogram procedures and interpreting results
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology used in cardiology
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members
