1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a hybrid Cardiac Cath & IR lab, requiring 1+ year of cardiac cath experience and FL or compact license. Details Short term acute care hospital with 223 staffed beds Hybrid lab performing both Cardiac Cath and IR cases, no neuro or structural heart cases Daily caseload of approximately 25 per tech Day shift, 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM On-call required, one week on call followed by two weeks off, call team includes 2 RNs and 2 Techs STEMI call and IR call covered by the same call team No floating to sister facilities required, though floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals may occur Cerner EMR used for charting Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required Cardiac Cath Lab experience required including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, coil embolization, filter placement, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, Impella insertion, and left/right heart catheterization IR experience required including stents, angioplasty, thoracentesis, peripheral and extremity studies, abdominal/pelvic and genitourinary studies, vascular studies, and venous access EKG experience required including pacemakers, rhythm interpretation, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring EP experience required including baseline measurements and insertion/programming of AICDs and pacemakers BLS and ACLS certification required ARRT Advanced Certification, ARRT-R, CCI
RCES, CCI
RCIS, CET, and Fluoro Permit preferred FL license or compact license required if applicable Cerner EMR experience preferred Community Hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
