Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent with Cardiovascular specialty. Minimum of one year recent CVOR experience in a hospital setting. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Strong understanding of sterile technique and CVOR equipment. Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced surgical environments. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and instruments for cardiovascular procedures. Provide direct support to surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries. Ensure patient safety and proper sterile fields at all times. Assist in post-procedural room turnover and instrument care. Document patient information and procedural events accurately. Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to maintain the highest standards of care.
