1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit requiring ARRT certification and cath lab/EP lab experience. Details Multi-specialty department including interventional radiology Cath lab/EP lab experience preferred 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Weekend requirement On-call requirement of 5-6 days per month including one weekend 30-minute meal break May be subject to floating between facilities within the health system if requested by unit Requirements Minimum of 1 year of direct experience required Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; BSN required ARRT R certification required BLS and ACLS through AHA required IL license required if applicable CCI RCIS and

certifications preferred Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including PCI, PTCA, left and right heart catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, and rotablator atherectomy Experience with electrophysiology studies including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and pacemaker insertion Experience with vascular studies and procedures including carotid stenting and endovascular interventions Skilled in equipment set up, scrubbing, maintaining sterile field, and room circulator duties Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Knowledge of infection control, isolation precautions/PPE, and sterile technique Experience with middle adult and older adult patient populations Charting system experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and interpretation of dysrhythmias Participate in laser-assisted procedures and ASD closures with cardiac implant closure devices Perform tilt table studies as needed Accepts local candidates at the same rate All requested time off must be submitted upfront as RTO cannot be added after submission
