1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer for an Echocardiology unit, requiring 5+ years of experience and proficiency in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo. Details Echocardiology department setting Day shift, 07:00-15:30 13-week assignment Uses Philips ultrasound equipment Performs M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE Uses Lumason imaging agent for bubble studies Epic charting system used Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer required Proficiency in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo required Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI required Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred) Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted License required if applicable Epic EMR experience preferred IV insertion skills preferred Additional Information Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and scan patients across all aspects of cardiac imaging Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer Operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
