Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in cardiac imaging by joining a dynamic team, where your expertise in catheterization and electrophysiology procedures makes a valued difference. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art cath/EP lab, performing a wide variety of heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures.
Schedule:
Full-time weekdays, 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. One variable weekday off per week On-call required: 1 weekend per month (Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m.) and 4 weeknights per month (5 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. next day) No weekend work outside scheduled on-call coverage
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years' hands-on experience in a cath/EP lab Proficient in scrubbing for all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures Experience with Merge Hemo documentation system is preferred Preferably RCIS or RCES licensure; ARRT licensure considered with relevant scrub experience in interventional heart cath cases Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled technical support for cath lab and EP lab procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety Maintain sterile technique and scrub in for a broad range of cardiac and vascular interventions Accurately document procedures, ideally using Merge Hemo Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as required Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment This is a 13-week contract position, offering valuable experience in a leading cardiac procedural unit.
